AI agent development: custom AI agents that do real work

An AI agent is more than a chatbot. It reads a request, checks your systems, decides what to do within the limits you set, takes the action and reports back. We build agents for support, sales and operations that connect to your CRM, store, inbox and databases.

AI agents for business, built for production

Most AI agents for business fail in the same place: they can talk, but they can't safely act. Our AI agent development focuses on the second part. Each agent gets access only to the tools it needs, clear rules on what it may decide alone, and a hand-off to your team for everything else.

As an AI agent development company, we build agents for customer support, lead qualification, sales follow-up and back-office operations, using models from OpenAI and Anthropic. Every agent is logged, monitored and tested on your real data before it goes live.

Where AI agents help most

  1. 01Your support inbox is full of order-status, booking and 'how do I' questions.
  2. 02Sales reps spend hours researching leads and writing first emails.
  3. 03Operations staff check several systems to answer one simple question.
  4. 04Chatbots you tried could talk, but couldn't actually do anything.

What goes into every custom AI agent

  • 01

    Tool access

Secure connections to your CRM, e-commerce platform, helpdesk, calendar and databases, so the agent can look things up and act.

  • 02

    Clear authority

You decide what the agent can do alone, such as refunds under a set amount, and what must be escalated to a person.

  • 03

    Memory and context

The agent remembers customer history and your policies, so answers are consistent and specific.

  • 04

    Guardrails

Input checks, output checks and hard limits keep the agent on task and stop it from making things up or overstepping.

  • 05

    Channels

Deploy on your website, email, WhatsApp, Slack, Microsoft Teams or phone.

  • 06

    Evaluation and logs

Every conversation and action is logged and reviewed, so you can see exactly what the agent did and why.

AI agent development FAQs

How much does a custom AI agent cost?

A custom AI agent usually costs $3,500–$12,000 to build, plus about $5–$250 a month to run, depending on the tools it connects to and how much it talks to customers. The automation audit is free, and you get a fixed quote before any build starts.

What is the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot?

A chatbot answers questions. An AI agent can also take actions: it checks your systems, updates records, books appointments or issues refunds within the permissions you give it, then confirms what it did.

Can an AI agent make mistakes?

Any AI system can. That is why we limit what each agent is allowed to do, add checks before sensitive actions, escalate uncertain cases to a person and log everything for review.

Which AI models do you use?

We choose per task, typically models from OpenAI or Anthropic, and can use models hosted in specific regions when data residency matters.

How long does it take to build an AI agent?

A focused agent that owns one job, such as answering enquiries or triaging email, usually takes three to six weeks: time to design its tools and rules, build it, and test it on real cases with a person reviewing its output before it acts alone.

How do you handle our data and privacy?

Automations run in accounts you own wherever possible, access is limited to what each workflow needs, and we follow the data-protection rules that apply to you, such as UK GDPR in the UK or PIPEDA in Canada. We document every system we build and hand over full access.
