AI client intake for Florida law firms
Potential clients call the first firm that answers. Our AI intake answers every call and web enquiry 24/7, gathers the facts, screens for conflicts and case fit, and books consultations, designed around the Florida Bar's guidance on generative AI.
AI intake that respects Florida Bar guidance
For personal injury, family, immigration and criminal defence firms, intake speed decides who gets the case. Many enquiries arrive after hours or while staff are in court, and a potential client who reaches voicemail often calls the next firm on the list.
Florida Bar Ethics Opinion 24-1 allows lawyers to use generative AI, with conditions. When a chatbot or AI assistant talks to prospective clients, it must tell them they are communicating with an AI program, it must not give legal advice, and the lawyer remains responsible for what it says and for protecting confidential information. The opinion also suggests screening questions to avoid contacting people who already have a lawyer.
We build AI intake around those rules. The assistant introduces itself as AI, collects the facts of the matter, checks your practice-area fit and conflict details, routes urgent matters to your team and books consultations. Legal questions are always referred to an attorney, and every conversation is logged in your case management system.

AI intake for Florida law firms: FAQs
Can Florida lawyers use an AI chatbot for intake?
Florida Bar Ethics Opinion 24-1 permits it, provided the chatbot tells prospective clients they are communicating with AI, does not give legal advice, protects confidential information and is supervised by the lawyer, who remains responsible for it. Your firm should confirm its own setup meets your ethical obligations.
Does the AI give legal advice?
No. It gathers facts and books consultations. Any legal question is referred to an attorney.
How is client confidentiality protected?
We use AI and telephony providers with confidentiality commitments, limit what each system can access, and log every conversation in your own case management system.
How long does it take to go live?
A single, well-defined workflow is usually live in one to three weeks. Larger systems are delivered in phases, so you see something working early instead of waiting months.
